11th Street Bridge

The bridge is the peregrines' favorite perching place. On February 11, 2000, we installed a nestbox in a depression on the top of the west counterweight. From street level, you can see the nestbox roof.

The Wells Fargo Building
and the Key Bank Building

This view from the 11th Street Bridge shows the east faces of two of the peregrines' regular haunts. In past years, they have especially favored the two gold ledges around the upper floor of the Key Bank Building and the eastern and northern upper windows ledges of the Wells Fargo Building.

There is a nest box on the south side of the Key Bank Building and one on the north side of the Wells Fargo Building in the top row of windows.

In this west-looking view, more of the peregrines' favorite buildings are marked.
